My organizer.. my BusyBodyBook Family Organizer and Calendar

I never thought I would be one of those moms who was always on the go but now I am. My kids are 3 and 10 and they actually do things. How strange. They go to swim class, computer class, Cub Scouts, play with friends, and do other things that kids do. All of that means that I have to plan things. I have to know whether my husband or I are going to take our daughter to swim and gymnastics, and our son to Scouts and computer class. Without help I am not a great planner, but with my BusyBodyBook, life is easier.

Believe it or not, I have anxiety issues. Don’t laugh. My BusyBodyBook helps keep my anxiety and stress levels low. Having our schedules laid out in a grid format and with me all of the time (I take my BBB with me everywhere) ensures that I always know what’s coming up in the days ahead and that I know who, what, where, why, and when.

There are four columns on each weekly page. I have one column assigned to each of us and a "family" column at the end. When I need to show my husband what activities are coming up and that he needs to take our son to Scouts because I am taking our daughter to swim, I just open my BusyBodyBook and show him. No questions, no arguments, no doubts about the date or time.. just easy to read facts.

Oh my gosh!! I am totally in love with Knock Knock. I can’t tell you how many note pads I have laying around the house despite the fact that I have at least 3 to-do/organization programs on my mac to help me stay organized! Ha Ha! Can you say “ADHD poster girl”?
We recently had a few home projects to plan and organize and between Tim and I there were about a dozen sheets of paper laying around the house with roofer’s phone numbers, terminology, ratings, etc.. I finally broke down because I didn’t know where to begin. At the time that we were planning things, I could only dream of one place to keep all of the roofer’s phone numbers, phone notes, and swirly doodles I drew while on the phone with potential roofers. Knock Knock’s Home Maintenance Organizer would have been a lifesaver – and will be in the future!

Knock Knock makes it easy for me to let Tim know what he can MUST do to make me happy with the Things You Must Do To Make Me Happy notepad. That cracks me up! A few of my favorites on the checklist are “wake up”, “remember what you tell me”, and “get it yourself”.

Knock Knock Mousepad The most useful Knock Knock item for me is the Information Central Paper Mousepad. I am at the computer many many many hours a day and while I’m working, naturally, a million random thoughts are going through my head. Being able to jot the ideas and thoughts down on my mousepad is so cool! I love it!

What do you have on your fridge? A calendar, a few photographs, some notes? That's what I had on mine up until a couple of weeks ago. I am so excited about Audiovox's Homebase Audio and Video system because it allows me to replace all of the visible fridge clutter with a pretty little shiny frame like device that does it all.
