LONPOS Pyramid and Rectangle Games

LonposLONPOS is a brainteaser game that at first challenged my patience and concentration skills but after a few games, I was concentrating like a pro and forgot that I have ever lost my patience.
All of our testers played at least 5 LONPOS games at one sitting. Once a player starts the game, they don’t want to stop.

How do you play?
To play LONPOS’ 2D games, you take out the 12 game pieces, all of which are different colors, from the box and put them on the tray. Then, from the
booklet, locate a problem that you would
like to try to solve and place
the pieces on the game board in accordance with the illustration. Once
you have done that, the challenge is to fit the remaining pieces into
the spaces remaining.  At first I thought that the games would be simple so I jumped to level 5. Oops, I was wrong! I decided it was best to start at level one where only one piece is missing and I got that level done in no time.

The LONPOS 101 and the LONPOS 303 Pyramid and Rectangle games are
pocket/ purse sized making them perfect travel games or for working on
while waiting in a doctor’ s office, etc. and each of these LONPOS models has 360,984 2-dimensional rectangles and 2,582 3-Dimensional
pyramids that can be completed. This game is like the Energizer Bunny.. it keeps going and going and going and going.  Play as many or as few games and levels as you like.

Get your older children away from the TV and video games and have them stimulate their minds with LONPOS.

Great for ages 8+ including older adults,  LONPOS makes a wonderful gift for any occasion.

LONPOS is available for $16.99 here.

Oil Cloth Chalk Mat

Madallie_oilclothmat1
Taking the kids to a restaurant… just the thought used to make me cringe.  Now that Sebastian is seven, he is pretty good about sitting still and occupying himself. Madelyn, on the other hand, is a different story. She just started getting interested in coloring so the Madallie Oil Cloth Chalk Mat has come in really handy on more than one occasion. Not only do we use the oil cloth chalk mat at restaurants, we use it at home on the kitchen table too.

The Oil Cloth Chalk Mat comes with two pieces of white chalk, an eraser cloth and a little pocket that stores both. The mat rolls up and ties closed which makes for easy packing and unpacking.

Planning a road trip?  Just bring a car seat tray, and your oil cloth chalk mat and your kids will have fun drawing, playing tick-tac-toe, hangman, and practicing their writing skills and math… yeah, right!

This is definitely a ‘mommy must have’.

I just learned that Madallie.com sells the infamous PlasmaCar!  If you haven’t already, check out the video of Madelyn being chased by two boys on their PlasmaCars. It’s really funny and she’s having a blast!  Madelyn even rides Sebastian’s PlasmaCar and she’s only 14 months! She loves it. She can go forward and backward on her own.

Hanging Cosmetic Bag by Flee

Flee_cosmetics_bag1This is one of my all time favorite Mommy Gear items. Seriously. I can’t emphasize that enough.

Before I even opened my Flee Hanging Cosmetic Bag, I fell in love with the look of it. The oilcloth pattern is full of personality and because oilcloth is easy to wipe clean, I knew this cosmetic bag would be something I would use everyday.

The cosmetic bag has five pockets. The top pocket holds my lipstick, powder, liners, and other long items. The second pocket is great for toothpaste, make-up, first aid ointment, trial size shampoo and conditioner and the third pocket holds regular size lotions, face wash, and deodorant among other larger items. The bottom pocket is what I call the "secret" pocket. It holds my feminine care products.

The Flee Hanging Cosmetic Bag is great for moms who might not always take a shower in the same bathroom. Sometimes I shower in my bathroom but sometimes I use the kids bathroom so I don’t wake my husband. Since I started using the Flee Hanging Cosmetic Bag, I cause much less ruckus than before because I just have to move the bag from one bathroom to another and I’ve got everything I need!

The Flee Hanging Cosmetic Bag is something that I think will last a lifetime.  I have already used it on a vacation and got several comments on the functionality and design of the bag. The bag fits nicely in the car, folded in half or inside my suitcase.

The Flee Hanging Cosmetic Bag can hang on both a towel rod using the convenient Velcro strap, shown to the right, or on a towel hook using the bag handles.

StowAway diaper bag by Flee Bags

Fleebags Here’s a riddle for you..

What has the functionality of a toddler seat cushion, a laptop protector, and a diaper changing aid?
A Flee Bag diaper changing pad of course!

I’ve never used a diaper changing pad that is so soft and ‘cushiony’ AND can be wiped clean and I’ve had the opportunity to test a lot of diaper changing pads.

The diaper changing pad is included in the incredible StowAway Diaper Bag by Flee Bags. This bag is truly unique in its design and functionality. The design fits my personality and style perfectly and the functionality fits a mommy’s lifestyle and then when you no longer need to tote pounds of diapers, toys, wipes, sippy cups, pacifiers, blah blah blah… you can use the StowAway Diaper Bag as a handbag, carry on bag, or a laptop case. Simply place your laptop in the bag and cover it with the super cushiony diaper changing pad. How great is that?

One of my favorite features of the StowAway Diaper Bag is the detachable change purse.  I’ve been testing the diaper bag for about a week now and there have been a few occasions when I needed to run into the store quickly for milk, bananas, or whatever and I didn’t want to carry the bag inside. I didn’t have to! I put my money, ID, and cell phone in the cool change purse and that’s all I took inside. LOVE IT!

I am thouroughly impressed with the durability of the bag. It’s impressive enough that it can hold tons of diapers, wipes, toys, food, and drinks but the fact that it can hold a laptop without ripping open at the seams thrills me.

Here are some features of the StowAway Diaper Bag:

Zipper-Top closure
Contrasting Interior Lining – Classy and stylish designs inside and out!
One Large Exterior Flat Panel Pocket
One Expandable Exterior Side Pocket
Three Exterior Flat Panel Pockets – great for easy access to a cell phone
Multiple Interior Mesh and Oilcloth pockets
Detachable Change Purse
Adjustable Shoulder Strap with Padded Slider
Dangling Key Clip
Protective Base Feet – these are great for germaphones (that’s what Sebastian calls me) like me. I get grossed out thinking about what kinds of dirt and germs attach themselves to the bottom of my bags when at a restaurant, doctors office, etc. The feet on the Stowaway Diaper Bag are a great feature!

That’s not all! I am going to publish a review of the Flee Hanging Cosmetics Case next week. We are taking a short vacation this weekend which gives me the perfect opportunity to use and photograph the case.

Car Seat Poncho

CarseatponchoI love the cold weather because I get to wear sweaters to cover up my extra fluff (as Sebastian so kindly puts it). However, one thing I dread about the winter and cold days in general is getting Madelyn all bundled up before we leave the house. That dread came to an end though, when I received a Car Seat Poncho to review. The Car Seat Poncho is made of two layers of 400 weight fleece so it is incredibly soft. Madelyn uses it to snuggle with sometimes when she’s not wearing it..she likes it so much.

When Madelyn is in her car seat, the Car Seat Poncho surrounds her like
a blanket and keeps her super warm. As the temperature inside the car increases, it can be easily opened or removed.

The Car Seat Poncho is perfect for families in apartments because you don’t have to bundle your child up in a coat or jacket just for the short walk to the car.

Carseatponcho_stepsThe Car Seat Poncho is simple to use.  Believe it or not, I actually figured out
how to ‘install’ (ha ha) the Car Seat Poncho without instructions!  Before you go out, slip the Car Seat Poncho over your baby’s head. Then
when you sit your baby in the car seat, lift the back of the Car Seat Poncho and drape it over the top of the seat.  Open the zipper from the bottom, and lay the poncho panels aside.  Buckle the harness and tighten the straps as directed by the car  seat’s manufacturer. Pull the zipper down to close the poncho.
That’s it!  You’re ready to go!
I love it!

I can’t tell you how many "That’s so cute" comments I’ve gotten when Madelyn wears her Car Seat Poncho in the store. Yes, I use it even when she’s not in the car seat.

The Car Seat Poncho is for use with babies in a convertible car seat, not an infant seat and who weigh 20 lbs. or more.
