I was invited, along with some great local bloggers here in Atlanta, to attend a ‘Bloggers and Friends Meet & Greet’ at Wendy’s to try out their new Pick 2 for $4.99 menu.  Talk about a good time!  Besides getting to see Pierra from JollyMom.com and Kia Morgan Smith (Madelyn’s favorite children’s book author), the kids and I enjoyed some great food.

To me Wendy’s new Pick 2 for $4.00 menu is that it is all about portion sizes and healthier selections.  The base menu item is a salad of which there are 4 to choose from including a Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad.. yum.  Then you can add on a drink, a baked potato, a hamburger, or Chicken Go Wrap to complete your meal.  The Pick 2 menu offers 28 total combinations of menu items, and 18 of those combinations are 600 calories or less! Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Charity Auction

This month – Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony initiative, which raises awareness and funds in support of the fight against cancer, celebrates its 10th anniversary. With a focus on breast cancer, Pink Pony supports programs for early diagnosis, education, treatment and research and is dedicated to bringing patient navigation and quality cancer care to medically underserved communities. Ten percent of proceeds from Pink Pony products benefits the Pink Pony Fund. To mark the 10th Anniversary and support this important cause, Ralph Lauren has partnered with luxury charity auction site Charitybuzz to auction over 200 unique items and experiences from now through October 21st.
