Gigantikes

I can’t believe how cute this idea is. It’s not very often that I run into brand new ideas or products that I haven’t seen before, but this is one of them.

Gigantikes will print your favorite photograph in a huge scale on or next to things like the statue of liberty, the white house, or up high in the mountains.. whoever is in the photograph is much larger than those silly little mountains.

Scenes include: The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, The White House, The Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in  London, The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, The Leaning Tower of Pisa in  Italy, The Capital Building in San Francisco, and the Giants Stadium in New Jersey.

The process is simple. First you join Gigantikes, free. Then you upload your favorite photographs. There is a photo upload guide with tips to help you choose the best photographs for your Gigantikes products. After you upload photographs, they are stored in your "upload gallery". Next, you choose what product you want your photograph printed on. Products include greeting cards, a mouse pad, t-shirt, post cards, note cards, and more. After you choose a product, you are able to choose a scene that you want printed on the product and then you choose which photograph you want to use from your upload gallery. You can pick up to 3 photograph choices per product you want to purchase and they will choose the photograph that they think will work best with the scene you choose. After you choose your photograph and scene you can enter text to be displayed on your merchandise.

It’s fast and easy! The process is very easy and quick. It took me no longer than 5 minutes to upload my photograph, choose a product and a scene and then enter my text.

Gigantikes are a great holiday greeting card idea. You can also order simple photographs for albums which is a great gift to give grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends.

Custom Birth Announcements @ PB Kisses

Pbkisses2
It is every parents wish to have the cutest baby announcements ever, right?  Well, it was mine.  When Sebastian was born (now 7), we went to the ‘paper shop’ in the mall and ordered baby announcements there. They were cute… but they weren’t custom. This time around, I got lucky and received the most wonderful custom baby announcments from PB Kisses. My wish came true! PB Kisses announcments are not your everyday announcments. You can’t order anything like these from a ‘paper store’.

When shopping at PB Kisses, parent start by choosing from several designs. Mom and Dad can customize the color of their announcments.  Parents can even request to have their color photograph turned into black and white or sepia which I think is just beautiful. The process is simple.. you simply choose the design you want from a page full of designs, click the Order button on the website and fill out a quick form that gives Angela all of the information she needs to design your custom baby announcments.

What’s even better? You can have custom mailing labels, thank you cards, party invites, holiday cards, baptism invites, and change of address cards made too!

Way to go Angela!!

Lauren G Designs

Remember when we used to write letters? We used to use envelopes and stamps and a mailbox?  We would put our letters in a real mailbox… the kind at the end of your driveway?

Lauren G Designs will make you want to revert back to those child hood days and write again. The personalized stationary samples that she sent Sebastian and I are so energetic and fun, I can’t wait to use them!

We are going to use Sebastian’s personalized stationary as thank you cards after his birthday party this weekend. He loves the designs which include a dinosaur, a football, and a turtle. The bright graphic colors correspond with the envelope color. Lauren, a mother of 2 young children herself, has a great eye for design.

I am going to use my personalized stationary for personal and business correspondance.

Busy Body Book

Every family needs a "Busy Body Book".

The Busy Body Book allows families to break events down by person. There are 5 columns for each day. Each column can be titled with a persons name (see video for example) or by subject for students.  The front of the book features a list of the months with ample room to write down all the important events for each month.

When you start a new month, one full page includes a grid of 3 full months; the previous month, the current month and the next month for quick reference.
On an open spread, one page includes a "To Doodles" section and a notes area and the other page includes a grid of the current week.

Christian and Jewish holidays are featured in the Busy Body Book.

Toward the end of the book is a feature that I absolutely love!  It is an "apointments for next year" spread. You know when you go to the OB/GYN and they want you to make your next yearly apointment, you are thinking "right, like I am going to remember the date!?"  Well, now you will!

Next there are several "Notes" pages.

To top it off, the book includes great little perforrated "To Do" pages with each page having 4 To Do perforrated sections.

At the end of the book you will find an "Important People" section…i.e. an address book.

The book comes with a bookmark that grabs the spiral binder so you can bookmark the current week.

There are 2 sturdy pockets; one in the inner cover and the other in the back of the book.

Click here to watch my quick video of the Busy Body Book.  It’s not the clearest video but you will get an idea of what the pages look like.  You can also visit the website to see sample pages.
