Can you imagine.. Candy Land, cupcakes, face painting, pottery painting, bead bracelet craft, and hair-do’s.. all in an hour and a half?
Oh my gosh I can’t tell you how exhausted I was around 12:30 today. I was pooped and ready for a nap, which is very unlike me. All for good reason though. Thanks to Hasbro and My Blog Spark, I hosted a Candy Land party for about 18 3-5 year old’s this morning. I was thrilled to have Desiree from BottlesToBritches.com, Stacie from TheDivineMissMommy.com, and Amanda from OhAmanda.com at the party. Check out their blogs! You’ll love them.
Candy Land was recently redesigned, bringing the excitement that is Candy Land back to our kitchen table. Forget the dinner, let’s play Candy Land! My daughter is 4 and Candy Land is the “go to” board game when she has friends over. Don’t even try to offer another game.. Candy Land is “IT!” and that’s the way it is.
Candy Land is a classic ‘first game for children’, takes about 15 minutes to play, and because there is no need to read to play Candy Land, even 3 year olds can play it!
You too can travel down the rainbow path on a journey of discovery through enchanted lands filled with sweet surprises around every corner. Create delicious treats at the Cupcake Commons to deliver along the way, participate in a thrilling snowboard race down the Ice Cream Slopes with the Duke of Swirl, take a relaxing train ride through Gummy Hills and climb to the top of Chocolate Mountain. Be sure to make friends with Gramma Gooey, Lord Licorice, Princess Frostine and Princess Lolly of Lollypop Woods throughout your adventure, as you race to meet King Kandy at the grand entrance to the Candy Castle.

I’ve actually never played it, but I think my kids would love it. I hope to win it for them. 🙂 Thank you!
I used to play this while I babysat and it was always a fun activity. Thanks!
My cousins and I used to play all the time when we were younger. Great game!
I remember playing with my younger cousin. She couldn’t count yet, but she knew her colors, so Candyland was perfect for us to play together! She didn’t grasp all the rules either, but we still had fun!
I loved playing Candyland with my children because it was easy enough that everybody could play.

We so much wanted to come but were recovering from the Birthday party for our 4 year old :). It sounds like it was so much fun!
I am not entering the contest because I never ever played this game 🙂
I remember playing Candy Land with my daughter and laughing and having a fun time with it.
I don’t really have much memories of playing Candyland.
when my daughter won for the first time without us manipulating the cards!
When I was a little girl, my cousins and I would play Candy Land every year after we eat Thanksgiving dinner. It was somwthing we would do every year. I will never forget that.
My favorite memory of playing Candy Land was when my son was much younger. We had the collectible tin Candy Land game and we had so much fun playing it. My son is 11 now and wouldn’t play Candy Land with me if I begged him.

I remember playing Candy Land with my mom, dad, and brother when I was a child. We had such a good time.
My children loved playing Candy Land when they were young. I have a lot of memories playing this game with them.
It was the first game they learned how to play.
