With regard to reviews, I often receive product from manufacturers, boutiques, or other outlets, to review. Products I receive are not returned and are considered an appropriate trade for the time it takes me to write the review and take photographs.  Before accepting a product for review, I confirm that there are no expectations that I will write a positive review.  If I really don’t like an item, I will not review it. Contrary to what some might believe about bloggers, free stuff doesn’t cloud our judgments, influence our opinions, or magically compromise our editorial integrity. I consider my relationship with my readers to be more important than anything else, and would never risk losing your trust or loyalty for money.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.  The reviews you see on TheMommyInsider.com are written in complete honesty and I make sure that companies that send product for review are compliant with the FTC guidelines in that they do not expect anything in return for the product or service offered to TheMommyInsider.com (i.e. the company/PR does not EXPECT a positive review or a review at all).

Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service featured on The Mommy Insider should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

The Mommy Insider has in the past accepted paid product reviews but hasn’t since early 2007. The content, advertising space or post may or may not be identified as paid or sponsored content.

When a reader clicks on an affiliate link and purchases an item from that store I am sometimes given a small commission on that purchase.
