I am not one to spend hundreds of dollars on a handbag… but give me an all-in-one diaper bag, handbag, and laptop bag and I’ll give you the money! I am IN LOVE with this Mia Bossi ‘diaper bag’.

I put this bag to the test.  First of all, most of you know that I’ve got two kids, Madelyn is 10 months and Sebastian is seven years old. We are always on the go.. to Grandmother’s house, the doctor, the bookstore, grocery store, Target, Starbucks, etc. I’ve been using the same great diaper bag for months but when I received this Mia Bossi bag to review, I immediately switched all my ‘stuff’ into the bag.

Besides the beautiful design, the quality of the leather, and the accents, this bag has an incredible feature that you won’t find in other bags. When needed, you can easily convert this bag from a diaper bag to a handbag or laptop bag. The day after I received the Mia Bossi bag, I found a reason to take the diaper bag insert out and use the bag as a laptop bag. I felt like a celebrity when I walked into Starbucks! I’m not kidding.  I had three moms and two women ask me about the bag.   

Mia Bossi offers several great styles for moms with all types of personalities and needs. I love the fact that I can use this bag long after I stop toting Madelyn’s stuff around and not feel like I am carrying a diaper bag.

I am thoroughly impressed with how much ‘stuff’ I can put in the bag. ‘Stuff’ includes: several diapers,  wipe case, toys, Sebastian’s Leapster, a bottle, snacks, telephone, wallet, a notebook,  two activity books for Sebastian and a few other things.

There are two outer pockets. One of which allows for easy access to my cell phone so I am no longer worried that I am going to miss an important call because I can’t find my phone.

Diaper Baggies are a wonderful thing. There have been two times in the last few months (before I got diaper baggies) that I could have really used these. One time was when we were arriving at a restaurant and Madelyn pooped right when we pulled into the parking lot. The only garbage can available at the restaurant was right outside the front door and I thought it would be really rude to share Madelyn’s stinky diaper with the nice people coming and going so I had to leave the diaper in the car. Needless to say, when we got back in the car, none of us were eager to get back in the car after dinner.

Diaper Baggies are basically a really durable bag with a zip closure to keep the smell in. My mother really appreciates that.

Here’s a true story: We were at my mom’s house a couple of weekends ago and I left the kids with her for an hour or so, so I could do some shopping. When I came back, we hung around for a while then went home around 8:30. I don’t know about you but when I get home, I take the diaper bag and put it in the same spot and don’t touch it until I go out again. Well..while my mom was watching the kids she changed Madelyn’s poopy diaper. She doesn’t like poopy diapers in her garbage so she put it in a grocery bag and then in my diaper bag. Oh my gosh!!! Did I have a surprise the next day when I reached in to get my wallet out! Oh, it stank! Who puts a poopy diaper in a grocery bag?  We all know they don’t close well and certainly don’t keep the smell out.  My gripe was that she could have at least told me she put a poopy diaper in my diaper bag. So.. my plan from now on is to give her a few Diaper Baggies so that doesn’t happen again.

Diaper Baggies are durable. They don’t tear easily.  I had Sebastian tug and pull on one Diaper Baggie and nothing came of it.

This bag is great. It is the perfect size for parents who are on the go often. We’ve all tried to carry small diaper bags on these outings, but it just doesn’t work. The O! Monogrammed Diaper Bag

Do you ever forget who you are? I do! Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am "mom" and so having this great monogrammed bag from Lovely Stitches helps because it’s got "Mom’s Bag" monogrammed on it. I will never forget again!
