Generation Baby Handy Sack

Generationbaby1This is such a great idea. Not only can I store diapers and wipes in the Generation Baby Handy Sack, but I can also use the handy sack as a make up sack, snack sack, bottle sack, and one use that I’m not sure they intended it to be for is a toy sack. When we go out to eat, I have to bring toys for both Madelyn and Sebastian. Between the two of them, they pack a lot!  I’ve been using my Generation Baby Handy Sack as a toy sack and no longer have toys cluttering my diaper bag. YEAH!

Oh and we don’t have to sacrifice style for functionality with the Generation Baby Handy Sack. With several designs to choose from you will find one that fits your personality and style.

Generationbaby3There are so many uses for the Handy Sack that I recommend purchasing more than one.  Why more than one?  The clear front makes it easy to see what’s inside the Handy Sack which is invaluable to those of us carrying a huge diaper bag. Being able to see what’s inside means I spend less time searching for what I’m looking for and therefore get less stressed when I need to find something. I know that sounds dramatic but when I’m out and I need to find Madelyn’s pacifier, a particular toy, or snack it’s not always easy to stop in my tracks and dig through my diaper bag.

StowAway diaper bag by Flee Bags

Fleebags Here’s a riddle for you..

What has the functionality of a toddler seat cushion, a laptop protector, and a diaper changing aid?
A Flee Bag diaper changing pad of course!

I’ve never used a diaper changing pad that is so soft and ‘cushiony’ AND can be wiped clean and I’ve had the opportunity to test a lot of diaper changing pads.

The diaper changing pad is included in the incredible StowAway Diaper Bag by Flee Bags. This bag is truly unique in its design and functionality. The design fits my personality and style perfectly and the functionality fits a mommy’s lifestyle and then when you no longer need to tote pounds of diapers, toys, wipes, sippy cups, pacifiers, blah blah blah… you can use the StowAway Diaper Bag as a handbag, carry on bag, or a laptop case. Simply place your laptop in the bag and cover it with the super cushiony diaper changing pad. How great is that?

One of my favorite features of the StowAway Diaper Bag is the detachable change purse.  I’ve been testing the diaper bag for about a week now and there have been a few occasions when I needed to run into the store quickly for milk, bananas, or whatever and I didn’t want to carry the bag inside. I didn’t have to! I put my money, ID, and cell phone in the cool change purse and that’s all I took inside. LOVE IT!

I am thouroughly impressed with the durability of the bag. It’s impressive enough that it can hold tons of diapers, wipes, toys, food, and drinks but the fact that it can hold a laptop without ripping open at the seams thrills me.

Here are some features of the StowAway Diaper Bag:

Zipper-Top closure
Contrasting Interior Lining – Classy and stylish designs inside and out!
One Large Exterior Flat Panel Pocket
One Expandable Exterior Side Pocket
Three Exterior Flat Panel Pockets – great for easy access to a cell phone
Multiple Interior Mesh and Oilcloth pockets
Detachable Change Purse
Adjustable Shoulder Strap with Padded Slider
Dangling Key Clip
Protective Base Feet – these are great for germaphones (that’s what Sebastian calls me) like me. I get grossed out thinking about what kinds of dirt and germs attach themselves to the bottom of my bags when at a restaurant, doctors office, etc. The feet on the Stowaway Diaper Bag are a great feature!

That’s not all! I am going to publish a review of the Flee Hanging Cosmetics Case next week. We are taking a short vacation this weekend which gives me the perfect opportunity to use and photograph the case.

Skip Hop Toolbox – a mommy must have

Good1_2What do parents need/use every day or pretty often?  Diapers, wipes, diaper cream, socks, thermometer, baby lotion, and the list goes on. That list is some of what is easily stored in the SKIP HOP Toolbox.  When we hired our nanny, I think she was confused as to why we don’t have one  place in the house where we change Madelyn’s diapers.  I explained to her that because our house is multi leveled and it’s not always convenient to  go upstairs or down stairs when Madelyn needs changing, we just have diapers and wipes scattered through out the house.   I was absolutely thrilled when I received the SKIP HOP Toolbox for review.  I filled the Toolbox up right away and have to say that I am very impressed with the amount of ‘stuff’ the Toolbox holds.

What is most valuable to me about the Toolbox is that I no longer have to search the bathroom cabinets, and drawers, and closets for Tylenol, nail clippers and other things that we don’t use everyday but often enough. These items are now stored in our SKIP HOP Toolbox.

This is a great gift for a baby shower or new mom. The SKIP HOP Toolbox is available in three colors, is very durable, and wipes clean with a cloth.

I found that if I stack several diapers on one side of the caddy then I can fit a full size diaper wipe box on the other side!  This is a mommy must have!

Features:

  • Holds up to 12 diapers.
  • Two drawers on the bottom that pull both ways for extra storage.
  • Two detachable side pockets.
  • Handle for easy carrying.

Mommy Bag by Rebecca Denny

Calling all women!  Wait.. calling all mommies and women!Rebeccadenny

You were a woman before you were a mom, right? Well, why sacrifice your style by toting around a bla diaper bag from the baby store when you can proudly carry what looks like a purse, but has the functionality of a diaper bag?  Yes, it’s true!  Rebecca Denny has created the much needed Mommy Purse.

I love the soft textured fabric and elegant design of the Pineapple Mommy Purse. The inside room is great and features lots of pockets including an outside pocket on either end to accommodate bottles and sippy cups for easy access. The front exterior of the bag has two large pockets, each measuring 7×7 that will hold your sunglasses, cell phone, wallet, etc. Rebecca didn’t forget about the personal items that we must take with us at times.  She includes a large zipper pocket in the interior of the bag that will hold your personal items (chapstick, compact powder, girly things, etc).

Go to rebeccadenny.com and you will see four beautiful designs in her Spring/Summer 07 collection and you can also take a sneak peek at her Fall/Winter collection!

Monogrammed Diaper Bag

Hottietottiedesigns Do you ever feel like you lost your identity when you became a mom?  I went through that phase after I had Madelyn, my second child, a year ago.

When I received a personalized ribbon tote from Hottie Tottie Designs I was overjoyed.  Carrying a diaper bag with my initials on it helps me feel like not only am I am mommy, but I am also ME!  You can design your own diaper bag by first choosing the bag style, and fabric patters, then a sache color if applicable, and the font if you want your diaper bag monogrammed.

No more running into friends at play dates, that have the same diaper bag as you! YEAH!

Hottie Tottie Designs diaper bags come with a coordinating diaper changing pad, and feature a magnetic closure, five pockets (including a cell phone pocket), and are made of 100% stain resistant cotton. How great is that?

This bag is an all around great diaper bag. Complete with a strong canvas lining, lots of pockets, it’s personalized, stain resistant… what more can you ask for?
