Lamaze Dream Screen

Lamaze_dream_screen1The Dream Screen is one of those toys that looks like something from the future.   The clean lines and bright colors of the screen make the Dream Screen captivating. The dual motion screen plays soft
m
usic when activated by you or your baby.

There are three play modes.
The first is a 5 second mode. The music plays and the screen moves when baby swats the little yellow guy hanging down from the Dream Screen. You can also customize music
for baby by connecting your MP3 Player to the Dream Screen. This mode is great because it teaches baby cause and effect.
The second mode is a continuous play mode. When turned on, the Dream Screen will play music and the screen moves for 15 minutes.
The third mode is the MP3 mode. Attach your MP3 player to the back of the Dream Screen and baby can listen to her favorite tunes.

Below is a video of Madelyn enchanted by her Dream Screen. The video is pretty dark because I wanted to shoot the video at night so you can see the Dream Screen lit up.  If you look closely enough you will see Madelyn staring at the screen.

Baby Oopz – a diaper bag necessity

Babyoopz1Babies are perfect. Well, almost perfect. You know.. there are those times when baby has an "oops" while you are out. Not only is that not perfect, it’s inconvenient and possibly a plan changing event. Moms already have little time to themselves, so while we are out shopping, the last thing we want to have to do is leave our favorite store to go home and change baby out of her soiled clothes.  BUT..

Baby Oopz has made ‘oopsie daisy’ situations much easier to handle with their line of super cute "oopz" baby clothes.  Just keep a set in your diaper bag and you are set for the day. Keep a Baby Oopz set in a zip lock bag in your diaper bag so you are always ready.

Pieces include baby onesies in both short and long sleeves, bibs, toddler shirts and shorts, and long pants. Girls aren’t the only ones who make mistakes. Baby Oopz recognizes that with a selection for boys and girls.

Generation Baby Handy Sack

Generationbaby1This is such a great idea. Not only can I store diapers and wipes in the Generation Baby Handy Sack, but I can also use the handy sack as a make up sack, snack sack, bottle sack, and one use that I’m not sure they intended it to be for is a toy sack. When we go out to eat, I have to bring toys for both Madelyn and Sebastian. Between the two of them, they pack a lot!  I’ve been using my Generation Baby Handy Sack as a toy sack and no longer have toys cluttering my diaper bag. YEAH!

Oh and we don’t have to sacrifice style for functionality with the Generation Baby Handy Sack. With several designs to choose from you will find one that fits your personality and style.

Generationbaby3There are so many uses for the Handy Sack that I recommend purchasing more than one.  Why more than one?  The clear front makes it easy to see what’s inside the Handy Sack which is invaluable to those of us carrying a huge diaper bag. Being able to see what’s inside means I spend less time searching for what I’m looking for and therefore get less stressed when I need to find something. I know that sounds dramatic but when I’m out and I need to find Madelyn’s pacifier, a particular toy, or snack it’s not always easy to stop in my tracks and dig through my diaper bag.

gigglygear babygear

Gigglygear1

My mother pointed out to me a few days ago that Madelyn’s feet always get stuck in her dress when she climbs, which she does a lot. My mom insists that Madelyn should be in a shirt and shorts at all times so as to not impede with her climbing efforts.

When I learned about gigglygear, I was ecstatic! gigglygear sells super cute two piece play outfits for babies that include a baby tee and a diaper cover or baby boxers.

Not only can you purchase an entire play outfit for your baby, but you can also buy pieces separately to add to a cute pair of shorts or a shirt baby already has.  I mix and match Madelyn’s gigglygear babywear all the time. The diaper cover has lots of colors so I can choose from any number of solid color baby tee’s in her closet if her gigglygear tee is dirty.

gigglygear babygear is offered in 0-6 month and 6-12 month sizes. My only request is that gigglygear offer larger sizes!

  • Super cute styles
  • Vibrant colors
  • Tagless for no irritation to baby’s delicate skin
  • Pre-washed to minimize shrinkage

Fortune Tootsies

Fortunesocks_custom
Sebastian is must get fortune cookies when we order Chinese.
Madelyn is too small to enjoy fortune cookies, but she’s not too small to look super cute in Fortune Tootsies. Fortune Tootsies feature ‘real life’ fortunes applicable to babies and new moms such as "Lucky numbers: 1 a.m. 2:36 a.m.3:15 a.m. 5:20 a.m.". This is my absolute favorite fortune sock.  Three pairs of fortune tootsies each with individual fortunes printed on the bottom of them, are delightfully packaged in a take-out box complete with fortune cookies for mom and dad (or order siblings).

Not only are fortune tootsies adorable, but they are thick, making for a comfortable sleep sock and machine
washable and dryable which every parent appreciates.

Fortunes on socks include:Fortunetootsies
